 Machining is a process of material removal in which either the part rotates and a stationary cutting tool removes material or the cutting tool rotates and removes material from a stationary part.

Service Offered:

• Manual machine tools are in place for shop support and the building of timesaver sanding fixtures, weld positioning fixtures, tooling modifications, custom tooling holders, pierce tool sharpening and other important machining operations necessary to keep the shop operating smoothly.

• Machining type work is not actively sought unless it relates to a sheet metal weldment, a fixture, or a required component of a bent shape fabrication project.
